HOW TO REGISTER


All registrations will be taken online administered through the Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) and powered by Spordle. 

If this is your first time using the new Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) you will need to create a new Spordle account prior to registration.  All family members and connected participant profiles (including yourself, if applicable) should be linked to your account. 

PLEASE NOTE, PERSON REGISTERING PLAYER MUST BE THE PERSON PAYING FOR THE REGISTRATION, AS THE PLAYER IS REGISTERED UNDER YOUR ACCOUNT.

RESPECT IN SPORTS

Parents of new players are required to complete "Respect in Sport for Parents" as part of the registration process. Proof of completion must be attached to every players profile.  Please use the link provided here to take this course if you haven't already done so already

A late fee of $75 will apply to any registrations after September 15 of each season.
A late fee of $75 will apply to any registration fees paid after November 1 of each season. 

All payments must be completed before your child hits the ice!

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Payment can be made at the time of via e-transfer to [email protected].
Please ensure that the name of the player you are registering and the division is included to ensure it gets applied to the proper account.

REFUNDS


All requests for refund must be submitted in writing to the Registrar. A $25 per player non-refundable administration fee + NOHA player fee cost + a prorated calculation formula based on the number of ice times allocated to the team, will be applied to all registration refunds.  No refunds will be issued after December 1st.  

FAMILY DISCOUNTS

A family discount of $50 will be granted to the second child, or more, registered from the same family.

WHAT DOES YOUR REGISTRATION FEES AND ASSOCIATION FUNDRAISERS PAY FOR?

Practices: 
Ice times per division are same time slot each week (unless ice time changes are required)
No shared ice times
Guaranteed 1 hour practices, several 1.5 hour practices where schedule and funds permit (U11 to U18)

Home Games:
Set game day & time (unless ice time changes are required or no home game scheduled)
Game referees and timekeepers

Additional Fees:
Hockey Canada participant fee (includes insurance for each player and team staff - mandatory)
Northern Ontario Hockey Association (NOHA) fees and team registration (mandatory)
OFMHA operating costs (i.e. hosting tournaments/jamborees, equipment, first aid supplies, jerseys, etc.

**Note: Each team is responsible for their own fundraising for tournaments and other team activities.**
